This short animation provides a general overview of the importance of goods movement – an industry that delivers consumer goods both near and far, in addition to providing thousands of valuable jobs locally. To maintain the region’s economic advantage, Southern California needs to develop a more efficient freight transportation network, one that is safe and reduces harmful greenhouse gas emissions.
